Author interview Diana Tuoto
Author interview Diana by Lolli.
My name is Miss Lollipop. I am pleased to get to get the chance to talk with Luna today.
Lolli: Luna will you please tell us a little about yourself.
Luna: I am a 10 year-old chestnut Morgan mare. While I'm rideable and look amazing under saddle, I'm mostly Diana's pasture pet. She takes me out handgrazing and lunges me often. I love our long walks and all the time she spends grooming me. My mom didn't name me Luna (my former mom did), but it fits me very well and my mom LOVES the moon, so maybe it was meant to be.
Lolli: What is your mom's name?
Luna: Diana Tuorto
Lolli: Are you the boss of Diana?
Luna: Boss might be too harsh of a word, but I do know how to guilt her into doing whatever I want....it's a talent.
Lolli: Good, that is how it should be. I excell at it myself. Which is your favorite book?
Luna:I'd have to say Janies' New Legs it's about a rescue pony who befriends a paralyzed girl. I always wanted a close human/horse friendship like that and now I finally have it. Oh no, I think I might cry...

Lolli: No crying allowed. My eyes get puffy. We must change the subject to something happier. What is the best time you had with your mom?
Luna: Hard to pick one particular time- anytime we go for our walks, I have a lot of fun and feel special.
Lolli: If you aren’t in the book were you the inspiration for the book?
Luna: As far as I know, I'm not in any of my mom's books yet--what's up with that? I still think I inspire her- I'm such a ham and am always doing silly things to make her laugh. Still, she wrote a book about her last horse, why not ME!?
Lolli: When your mom is writing does she stayed chained to the computer and forget about you? What do you do for entertainment?
Luna: This winter was a particularly snowy one, so I didn't see my mom as much as usual--I live in a field 24/7 with two other Morgan mares and we have a great time. We run around and graze all day, it's fun. I hate being locked up in a stall alone.
Lolli: When she gets a good review does she share it with you? What do the two of you do to celebrate?
Luna: My mom always tells me when she has good news- generally my mom gives me a least one extra apple or carrot to celebrate. I can't complain.
