One was about a horse and a young girl. Both the girl and the horse were in accidents and are put together to heal. I thought the horse's name was Blaze but the only Blaze books I can find are a series featuring a boy-Billy and his horse Blaze. Are you familiar with a book with a girl and her horse Blaze? My mother bought me a book when i was younger, it was a hardback, Pink in color, I believe it was called Horse Stories or Famous Horse Stories-- the thing is i cant remember, I do remember it had a beautiful picture of running horses on the front of it. But i cant remember for sure. Ive been searching for this book because it has my favorite story of all time in it- I think it was called "The Faithful Brady". It was set some time back in the 1800s, the horses name was Brady and i believe he was the cause of a conflict between two families, but long story short, he ends up getting shot in a flurry of gun fire trying to get to town to get the doctor because a baby is choking-- he survives, it is a wonderful story and at the end the two families are brought back together.... Help needed for cookbook for charity organization.Our business womens' group did the same thing several years ago. We actually asked the women to contribute recipes and we grouped them by categories. What we did that was a bit different, is the covers of each of the cookbooks was had painted by a group of women within our group that were artists or would-be artists. We painted the covers, they were stamped with two grommets through the artist board and then we supported the book using silver rings. We wrapped them up in a cello bag and then tied them off with raffia. I think we sold them for $ 35.00 a piece to raise money. I think its a great idea!!!!! We have all found shortcuts to preparing meals that will maximize our barn time :). We would love your input on our idea.
