When authors sell directly to the book buying public it is a win win situation. The public pays less and the author receives more.

How? Most publishers will sell books to the author at a reduced bulk cost. The author in turn can sell the book for less to the customer and neither is paying for the middleman.

At Sharon’s Corner Bookstore we serve the author and the public by listing books.

In a 1994 copy of the magazine "Grass Roots" I saw a book/video advertised for sale. I think it was called "Donkey Business", but although I've tried to find it, it seems to be either not lisyed by name or out of print. I assume it was an Australian publication as the article it accompanied by by a woman in NSW. Thanks Monica

Lost Books

Looking for lost books. Books that people remember the theme of but not the title and author. If you recognize the theme and can supply the missing information please let us know.

I am looking for a book about a male veterinarian who hires a female veterinarian reluctantly. his nephew had been accused of drugs and he had said that the girl was the one who provided them. she denied it. the nephew went to jail for a time. the girl is hired, the vet has a heated love feeling towards her. they end up falling in love. his mothers horse is very ill and he calls her in to help work on the horse. they also go to a rodeo show. (where he is the vet on call) even though at first he doesnt trust her because of the drugs he later finds out (the nephew threatens her at his ranch and the housekeeper and vet hears the nephew. later the nephew tries to kill the girl. i had this book once but i think it go sent out when i was doing a book exchNge. thank you so much. debra
